Investor’s Business Daily – Excellent source of news, commentary, and info graphs. Also great for research with their stock checkups, top stock lists, unique ratings, and investing system.
Morningstar – Great for quick research with lots of information available for equities. Also excellent for fund research.
Seeking Alpha – Lots of insights and detailed analysis, top notch for stock commentary.
MarketWatch – Good provider of news, basic analysis, real-time quotes, and financial data. – Information about many asset classes, economy, news, and good charting.

Fundamental Analysis

Atom – Lots of fundamental analysis tools along with pre-fill modeling, consensus projections, and many financials.
Koyfin – Plethora of financial data and analytics for fundamental research as well as comparison tools, charting, and macro dashboards.
Gurufocus – Great for quick, detailed view of company’s financial strength, profitability, and valuation through many metrics. Also has DCF modeling.
FinBox – Huge amount of research and fundamental analysis tools. Hundreds of financial model templates available that can be exported to Excel for customization. Also has a neat data explorer, peer benchmarks, and the FinBox fair value estimate.
Zacks Investment Research – Excellent for research, visual representations, and key company statistics. Also has the famous Zacks rank, style scores, and industry rank on each stock’s page. Sometimes has free research reports available.
Simply Wall St – Analysis of a stock’s price, risk, valuation, future growth, past performance, financial health, dividends, and management through info-graphic reports and beautiful visuals. Also has a quick visual summary through a snowflake.

Technical Analysis

TradingView – Tremendous chart creator for technical analysis with hundreds of built-in and public indicators. Also has various trading ideas by asset class.
FinViz – Well known charting website for quick analysis that also has a good screener and heat maps for S&P 500, ETFs, and World exchanges. Also has various visualizations for performance by sector and industry.
StockCharts – Similar to FinViz with multiple different charting tools to view multiple charts at once and summary pages.


Natural Gas Intelligence – News and data on natural gas as well as weather charts and pipelines. – Great learning resource for commodities: what they are, why they’re valuable, drivers of commodity prices, and how to trade them.
Gold Price – Price of gold, performance of gold, charting for gold and gold ETFs.
Oil Price – Price of different oils, news for oil & energy.
